南丫風采發電站是香港首個使用風力的商用發電站，於2006年啟用。錄音時因疫症設施不對外開放而未能到風車正下方位置採集聲音，但仍然能夠在外圍收集風車轉動和改變方向時發出的響聲。

Lamma Wind Power Station is the first commercial wind-powered power station in Hong Kong, opened in 2006. Because of the pandemic the facilities were not open to the public and the sound could not be collected directly below the windmill, but the sound of the windmill turning and changing direction could still be recorded from the outside.
