紅磡黃埔街所在地過去位於海岸綫，鄰近黃埔船塢舊址，擁有豐富的歷史背景。隨著城市發展這裡正經歷著變遷，目前是一個正在興建新住宅項目的工地。錄音位置正面對著工地，捕捉到了工地上機械運作聲、建材運輸聲以及重型車輛的行駛聲。此外，錄音裡有持續不斷的鑽孔聲，長時間聆聽這樣的聲音相當困難，這反映了施工活動的激烈和干擾性質。

The area of Hung Hom Whampoa Street, formerly located along the coastline near the former site of Whampoa Shipyard, has a rich historical background. With urban development, it is currently undergoing transformation and is a construction site for a new residential project. The recording was made facing the construction site, capturing the sounds of machinery operations, transportation of construction materials, and the passing of heavy vehicles. Additionally, the recording includes the continuous drilling noise, making it quite challenging to listen to such sounds for a prolonged period. This reflects the intense and disruptive nature of the construction activities.
