IL0002 南丫島南丫風采發電站 Lamma Island Lamma Wind Power Station

南丫風采發電站位於南丫島大嶺，由香港電燈公司興建，是香港首個商用規模的風力發電設施，於 2006 年 2 月 23 日正式啟用。該風力發電機為 Nordex N50 型，額定容量 800 千瓦，大約相當於在理想條件下為約 250 戶家庭提供電力。錄音時因疫症設施不對外開放而未能到風車正下方位置採集聲音，但仍然能夠在外圍收集風車轉動和改變方向時發出的響聲。

The Lamma Winds Power Station is located at Tai Ling on Lamma Island and was built by Hongkong Electric. It is Hong Kong’s first commercial‑scale wind power facility and was officially commissioned on 23 February 2006. The wind turbine is a Nordex N50 model with a rated capacity of 800 kW, which can provide electricity for approximately 250 households under ideal conditions. The recording was made from outside the turbine area, as public access to the base was restricted due to pandemic measures. From this location, the sounds of the wind turbine’s blades turning and changing direction can still be heard.
