HK0007 中環電車砵甸乍街西行站 Central Tramways Pottinger Street Westbound Stop

砵典乍街位於香港島中環，被古物古蹟辦事處列為一級歷史建築。錄音是在砵甸乍街西行車站收集，可以聽到電車在接近車站並準備減速時發出的高頻聲音。當道路繁忙且停滿大型車輛時，電車產生的聲音會被掩蓋，只有在近距離才能聽到。

Pottinger Street is located in Central, also known as the Stone Slabs Street by the locals because the street is paved unevenly by granite stone steps. The recording was collected at Pottinger Street West Bound stop, a high pitch noise made by the tram when it is approaching the stop and preparing to slow down can be heard. When the road is busy and filled with large vehicles, the sound generated by the tram often gets buried and can only be heard in a close proximity.
